As part of Cres: The Island of Puppetry Festival 2026, I designed and facilitated an all-ages shadow puppet workshop (age 4 +). The project centered around bringing the regional mythological story of Lake Vrana to life through community-driven performing art.
I guided participants through the end-to-end creative process, including puppet design, material crafting, assembly, scene breakdown and rehearsal. I directed a collaborative community performance to showcase the participants’ handmade shadow puppets.
The final showcase took place at Palace Moise, Center for Advanced Studies Southeast Europe.
