I was invited to be part of the expert international jury at the 27th International Puppet festival Golden Sparkle, in Kragujevac, Serbia.
I was responsible for evaluating the performances showcased during the festival and selecting the winners. My duties involved attending all performances within the competitive program, participating in jury discussions, and casting votes to determine the award recipients.
The categories were various, including Grand prix, Best director, Best dramaturgy, Best visual identity, Best scenography, Best Puppet design, Best original music composition, Best collective animation, Best ensemble performance and best acting awards. The jury had also the authority to create additional award categories.
The festival showcased international performances from Canada, Croatia, China, Israel, Chile, Palestine, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Serbia and Spain.
